About the Brookdale Park Conservancy

The Brookdale Park Conservancy was founded in 2009. We are an all-volunteer group supported entirely by donations (and the occasional grant). We are a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. We can be reached via email at info@brookdalepark.org or by regular mail at Brookdale Park Conservancy, PO Box 1148, Montclair, NJ. 07042.

Our VISION is to become an indispensable partner in the stewardship of Brookdale Park, ensuring the sustainability of our preservation efforts by engaging our diverse park community. Our MISSION is to preserve, enhance, and promote the park, providing a voice for the community and collaborating with Essex County.

Recent Projects

Over the years, the Conservancy has developed, designed, led, supported, partnered, and advocated for many projects throughout our beautiful park. Some are ongoing projects like the Rose Garden and the Pollinator Garden, and others were one-time projects such as the Cherry Grove and the Crabapple Grove.
