Fine art and fine crafts grace the 16th annual Fall Fine Art and Crafts at Essex County's Brookdale Park Show October 17-18 in Bloomfield/Montclair. Over 160 exhibitors from New Jersey and throughout the Northeast will exhibit their jewelry, furniture, glass, fiber, pottery, oils, watercolors, serigraphs, photography, leather, sculpture, wood and more.
The show will be accented with music and a variety of ethnic foods. Fine Art and Crafts at Brookdale Park, co-sponsored by the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs and Janet and Howard Rose of Rose Squared Productions, Inc., is located on Watchung, Bellevue and Grove Avenues in Bloomfield/Montclair. Unlimited parking is available from the Watchung Avenue entrance. Directions to the show from your location can be found via Google Maps.

The Essex County Free Summer Music Concert Series is back again offering a diverse lineup of performers who will take center stage throughout our historic Parks System. The Brookdale Park SummerMusic & Fireworks event will take place on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. It is part of the Essex County Free Concert Series.
The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. Known as "America's #1 Show Band", The Infernos Band has quite a repertoire that includes: Big Band, Oldies, Motown and today's top chart busters. The band will be joined that night by Joe Piscopo from Saturday Night Live. After the concert, you'll want to hang around for a spectacular fireworks display. Essex County invites you to pack a blanket, enjoy the fresh air and dance to the sounds of great music.
This program is made possible, in part, by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Concerts are held at accessible sites. Persons who require special accommodations or assistance are asked to call the Division of Cultural and Historical Affairs at least two weeks prior to the concert to alert staff of their needs.
