Philanthropy comes in many forms which can include volunteering, building partnerships and making a financial gift. We hope you will include the Brookdale Park Conservancy in your philanthropic efforts before the end of 2016 and below are just a few ideas on ways that you can help keep Brookdale Park safe and beautiful!
Participate in #GivingTuesday by becoming a first time member or renewing your support for Brookdale Park on the fifth annual international day of giving: November 29, 2016.
Shop through AmazonSmile.com this holiday season and select Brookdale Park Conservancy as your charity of choice. Amazon will donate a small percentage of your eligible purchase to the BPC.
Talk to your employer and find out if they offer any employee related charitable giving programs. Major companies including Google, IBM, Verizon and Viacom have generously supported the BPC in the past because their employees support and love Brookdale Park.
Sponsor the planting of a tree in the park as a tribute to a person or event. Evergreen, flowering and shade trees all make for an excellent opportunity to honor a loved one or event in a way that benefits your local community, park wildlife and the environment.
Tell a friend. If you’re a current supporter of Brookdale Park, consider telling a friend about why you include the Conservancy in your charitable giving. Maybe you’ll inspire them to become a Brookdale Park supporter too!
